1. The Noodlin’ Man – the whole idea of a noodle (defined as someone who attends social events by him/herself when it is normally an event attended with a group: i. e. a movie, ice skating, etc.) was totally unknown to me before last semester, and marissa ballard should be given all the credit for informing me. i really do like to noodle though.
2.Team Positive Theme Song – potentially the happiest group of people i’ve ever been a part of (minus driscoll, of course), team positive is the group of guys that i run track with here at ohio wesleyan. we’re 800 runners, and positive at that. we have a former all-american for a coach.
3. Sharif. A Love Affair – sharif is also a member of team positive, and is just an all around awesome guy. thats why the ladies love him.
4. Don’t Go Ice Skating. It Hurts – this one is pretty self explanatory, but it describes a time when i was noodling, and i smashed my face on the ice. true story. the whole song is truth. (except for the washing my face in the bathroom sink)
5. Alex…Clapp – alex clapp is a friend of mine from my “reading shakespeare” class, taught by Dr. Dennis Prindle, and she wanted a song. she never really came to class that much.
6. Cute As A Kangaroo – written last summer for no one in particular, this song pretty much marks one of my first attempts at song writing.
7. Lifetime Extraordinaire – dennis prindle.
8. Chirp Chirp and Tweedle Dee – doesn’t really have a meaning or any sensible lyrics at that.
9. The Bop Bop and Doody Song – similar to chirp chirp and tweedle dee, there is not really any purpose behind it, but i really do like this song. it might be my favorite on this album.
10. Salvation in the Strings – two summers ago i went on a missions trip all along the east coast with a team called operation barnabas. two of my team members were jay duran and joe heckert. awesome guys for sure, and even before we went on “tour” they had written this song. they played it all summer, and it was incredible. no lie.
dennis prindle. ahhhhhahahahahahha. no explanation has ever been more clear.
lyrics written by both ben and marissa. jerk.
